Mintchip’s first ever Codevember!

What is “Codevember”?

Codevember is a portmanteau of “Code” and “November”, inspired by Weird Web October by Octothorpe, as well as monthly/yearly challenges such as Inktober and Nanowrimo. If you know how those work, you know how Codevember works!

Why did you make Codevember?

I don’t see a lot of coding challenges the way I see writing and art challenges, so I thought this would be a fun way to continue the fun of Weird Web October, right into November! Hence, Codevember!

When is the deadline to join?

There is no deadline! Unfortunately, there is also no sign up sheet at the moment, but you can contact me via any of the contacts listed on this page.

Who can participate?

Anyone with an interest in basic HTML, CSS and Javascript, access to a personal website such as neocities, and the energy to follow along with a monthly prompt challenge.

Where do I submit my creations?

At the moment I do not have the coding knowledge to set up a tagging system, but you can leave a note on my guestbook, dm me on discord (emmywithanie) or email me at gamagal86@gmail.com to show me your handiwork anytime!

How do I participate?

Ideally you should do the prompt that corresponds with the day without planning too much in advance, be as creative as you want with the coding prompts, or be literal, just have fun!
